Wish I was able to include the log on which he is trying to land. Couple of other eagles were on the log where this guys was trying to land.

Sid:

Tremendous look of concentration, great feet/talons. Yes, I would like the landing spot to help anchor the image, but still very nice.

There is some shadowing along the primaries.

I have enjoyed your raptors.

Thanks Randy. I selected background into a new layer and did noise reduction. I guess I messed it up over there. Here is the rework. Also borrowed the clean stump from another image. :)

Very nice pose on the bird, really powerful feel. I'm not sure about the re-post, agree that the image
needs an anchor though.

Sid.

I love to see these images of eagles, I believe these are some of the most powerful and admired birds in nature.

The repost looks great but there are some cloning artifacts right bellow of the talons, they are evident, but could be easily fix.

power pack pose. wish you had captured it a bit early and feeze with wings as well. little USM would add a bit more interest to me. looks bit smooth to my taste

Sid, Great capture with those talons up front. HA could of been better, just a touch towards us. All in all good. I'm also not sure about the perch though.

Beautiful landing pose Sid, love everything. One more round of USM on the bird will bring out even more detail. Very well done. TFS
