If you go to B&H, and presumably other reputable sites as well, and look at lenses, they are listed as "imported" or "usa". You don't see this with the bodies.
If you read B&H's help, it would indicate that the "import" or gray market product would have to be returned to B&H for warranty work.
If I buy a body outside of the USA can I send it to the repair centers in the USA should I need warranty work or must I send it somewhere else. Or worse yet, do I have to return it where it was purchased outside of the USA?
