anyone know of any good places to get non glare acrylic glass? I am looking for some and there are a bazillion places on the internet and I have no idea which are good / bad

I found what looks to be a decent kit on ebay but figured I would ask here before I jumped on it

I am printing a pic and hanging it at our cottage but I cant find a frame that I like so I am going to make the frame myself but I dont know anywhere local to get a 24x 36 piece of glass that wont cost a ton

Hi Jamie,
I had to put together a lot of frames for a display in late summer. I used these people http://www.framedestination.com/ I had great service from them and I recommend them.

Jamie,

When I put on a show a number of years ago the local picture framing shop just sent me to our local glass supplier. They supplied me with nonglare glass (not acrylic) for all my images. Just something you might check into.

I,ve bought from "united framing" on the recommendation of my local framing shop. No problems. I do find it easier to just purchase directly from the frame shop (they buy it from united). I buy enough that they give me a good deal and they cut it for me.

Jamie, I do art shows all the time. My husband makes my frames and then he works with a local glass shop. The problem I found online is that the shipping costs can be high, especially since the glass is heavy.

Bonnie thanks for the info on this, I got it today, from TX to MI it took 3 days with their std shipping, cost me 11 bucks for shipping.

I am super happy

next time I will look around locally as others mentioned, but I figured I would not find acrylic uv / non glare
