Here's another Harrier from a few days ago. I have been trying to get the male now for three weeks but with no luck yet. Maybe this week.

You've been doing great with the Harriers Rick! One consistent issue I'm having is that you're cropping with the bird too small in the frame. They look great...show the birds off by cropping tighter! This image has great details, especially the dangling talons with ? prey. Eye contact is excellent. Near wing position could be a little better. Keep up the good work, and good luck finding a male! I believe females typically outnumber males around 9:1.

Nice capture Rick... looks great with the head turn back toward you and the prey in the talons. I agree about a tighter crop, and looks like either a horizontal or vertical format may work with this one. Congrats.
