Good pose on this little guy. In a perfect world the light would have illuminated the green speculum of the far wing...but I know how swift these guys are - you did well to get him sharp and in the frame. The water serves as a nice backdrop.

Love the quality of the light and the way you froze the bird. I only wish that the angle of the light better illuminated some of the green on the bird.

Thanks for the comments. There are lots of green winged teal in Burnaby Lake Vancouver. They are just kind of far away for my 300mm lens and they are fast!
