Dear all
Not posted any thing here for quite a time
Made this with D700, 600/F4 at f4 ISO 800 (by mistake but D700 saved me ) , 1/5000 , no flash , beanbag on SUV shoulder , in Kanha NP

PP wise , 90% of original, levels , contarst and NR on BG , cloned few sticks and applied 0.8 gaussian blurr on BG
As I said earlier , I am learning Macro , so looking for differnt subjects in forest
all C & C are most welcome and much appreciated
Harshad

Beautiful image, Harshad, and not a flower I've ever seen before so what a treat! It almost looks like a lady slipper in some ways.

You really nailed this on all points - beautiful clarity on the flower, yet a soft diffused BG. Your diagonal comp is very nice and fills out the frame nicely. Good sharpness on the dew drops - it's really a beautiful image. You did very well with the 600mm as a macro lens!

IMHO if 600/F4 used cleverly , can be rocking macro lens , I have few macro images taken with 600, will share in coming days

It looks really nice Harshad. From my take on it, it must have been fairly bright light and photo still has a very nice warm feel to it. I like the water droplets. Dave
