I found that for night time photography in DC, especially on a cloudy rainy night, you have to shoot in B&W to avoid having gross color casts ...

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Lens: 24-105L
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 105 mm
ISO Speed: 400

3 image HDR then converted to B&W

Another lovely image of an iconic monument Michael. I was wondering if you had any problems with the NPS rangers about using a tripod around the mall area. I've heard stories about them requiring a permit for using a tripod and since I'm headed there next April, I'd like to get everything lined up early if I need to.
