You were much luckier than I. I never got a lotus photo. Beautiful colors. I'm wishing the top of the top lotus petal were completely in the frame, but this is minor. There is something about the lighter colors in the center part of the flower that don't seem to work for me. Perhaps there is a lack of definition.

Dave I love the colors in this but the crop is leaving me wondering what I'd do differently. I can't quite put my finger on it but it feels too closed in for some reason. (Ask me again tomorrow you might get a different answer...) Is this the full frame? If not, was there a reason you chose to crop it as you did? I'm just trying to get a handle on your thinking to see if I can figure out what it is that's bugging me about it. Hmmm...

Hey Dave,
Will await the crop reply but as presented.....maybe a few degrees of CCW rotation and then crop off the UR corner and some of the bottom.....most of which will be gone with the rotation crop cleanup. I think the colors are what we had!

Heres the image before I did anything to it. Anyone have suggestion on the crop or would you have liked to see more of the flower than how it was originally composed?

I think I would like to see more of the flower.

Here's the best i could come up with....9 degrees CCW rotation and an LCE of 23/35/0
