Revisiting some harrier images from two seasons back, here is one I hadn't shared before... the good 'ol days with my 20D... ;-) Captured north of Farmington Bay here in northern Utah.

20D w/ 400 5.6L
1/2000 f/5.6 iso200

Thanks for looking,
John

I like the banking pose of this one. The fanned out tail grabs my eye and directs it toward the front of the bird and the direction he's flying. I think I'm seeing some noise in the sky but its late and it could just be me. 20D was/still is a good one.

I like the head angle and the fanned out tail. Pleasing light as well.

Hi John, nothing wrong with the 20D, its now my trusted spare body and still gets put to good use. Great flight angle, showing good exposure and detail from the underwings. Love the fanned tail too. Well captured.

Great looking raptor! love the eye contact and wing details captured by your 20D. I also see some noise on BG, that's weird since you where shooting at ISO 200. I have a 30D which has the same sensor as the 20D and even at ISO 400 I get no noise.
