I think this is the most colorfull autumn from the last three years. Today I have been back to the Twickel Estate near my hometown. I have worked on photographing this place at the river at the four seasons and, I have to say, I allready had one shot in autumn. But this time it was like gold. To get a nice low perspective I went into the water and made the pictures with long shutterspeed from a tripod. To see more of this day; have a look at my website.

Han, Very nice image! Interesting trees, color, reflections and how you divided the comp makes for a strong presentation. I'm impressed how you controlled the dappled lighting in the image where you don't see any strong highs and lows.

Hi Han,
You did do very well handling the mixed light.....not an easy task! You may want to tone down some of the brighter ones a touch to minimize them further but I do like the way you have led us through the scene into the opening of the curved trees. Nicely composed!

Han,

Subtle hues and good composition all working well here. I agree on the bright areas and would tone down the yellows a bit to get there. Keep them coming.
