Hi David, No negatives on this from me. Nicely composed with beautiful light. Good use of stitching especially with 14 images. Very well handled IMO...

Hey David,
Did you try lightening the FG shadow areas any?......I only ask because while I really like the overall presentation......I absolutely love this with just the other shore trees as a base (browser crop works). Now that may be because of the deeper shadows and lightening may change my preference.....but IAC.....this was extremely well handled from the comp to the stitch....very nicely done!

Very nice image, mountains are nicely lit. You did very well stitching those 14 images together. Leveling these kinds of images is always difficult. Perhaps a little more clockwise rotation (0.5 degrees)? Try it and see what you think. Well done indeed!

would look great against a hall wall :)
great stitchwork and the light and textures is magic. Roman's crop has merits but for me it changes the aspect ratio a bit too much (might not notice it at full res though)

Dave,

You picked a good time to photograph the Sandias - great light creating lots of definition on the mountain. Where was this taken from as I don't recall seeing the mountain from this vantage points during past visits.

I would agree with Roman's comment on the FG.

Hi David, lovely image and congrats on image of the week -

What program did you use for the 14 image merge? Does it do all 14 in one go or do you do it in batches? Thanks,

Jay, I use PSCS4. It does it all at once. Thanks for the comment.
