I am a bird lover and an amateur photographer. I started taking bird photography seriously a few months back and have made a small but decent collection already. Sooner or later I would like to generate some part-time income from it....basically to fund pro-body and pro-lenses purchases:-) I have a day job that I like and dont intend to( or afford to:-) quit.
I thought this would be the best community to seek some advice. What advice would you give someone like me? How to start off and build? What are your thoughts on stock and microstock photography? Is it good and easy way to start or bypass completely? How to go about selling prints? You folks out there also must have started somewhere.
Just thinking aloud here guys. All help appreciated.
