Took this image early one morning while waiting to see some Le Conte's Sparrows. I was surrounded by Savannah Sparrows and got some shots when they presented themselves on nice perches.

D300, 600VR, 1.4tc, f/6.3, ISO400, 1/1000th, +.3EV

Excellent, I like the grass BG and the perch too, the bird is great nice pose HA etc.
I like the overall color tone too. I would back-up just a bit with sharpening. Very nice!

Like the perch, colors and sharpness are excellent.

I would try and tone down the bring OOF plant stalks in the background.

Hopefully you were fortunate enough to get the Le Conte's too :)

I like the colours and comp. Nice perch too - I like how it splits in two. I agree toning down, or smoothing out, some of the OOF branches (especially the 2 diagonal ones - one above and one below the bird). Overall well done!

I like the sharp bird against the golden colors. Nice composition and perch.
