Not sure of the ID -Taken at Sandy Hook NJ last week

White eye-brow, fine streaking on breast, redish bill base, black legs:
Looks like White-rumped Sandpiper to me.

Denise,

Nice low angle and pose...WRSA are one of the few peeps that come through late--none before last days of September usually, and more typical of October birds. I've not seen many juveniles at all comparative to other 'peeps'.

The pale bill base is rather unique among the similar peeps, so that's usually a feature to key into..
