Incredible timing and nice light Jim. Fine detail on the wings seems a bit lacking on my laptop, but that's easily overcome by the lighting. Is this a large crop?

Fantastic as always, Jim. Light, sharpness, action, IQ all great. No recommendations here, except to keep up the inspiring work.

Amazing angle you captured this one at ,gives a great feeling of the speed these birds are capable of going at on the downward dive ,and that eye ,Wow!

love the pose and the comp. IQ top drawer as usual Jim.
I may suggest cropping just a tad from the left?

Awesome action Jim, the red spot on the beak is blood(?) visible fanned tailed is a plus. wish beak had not merged with part of the wing but that's very minor. TFS

Lovely look on the Merlin's face.
Wish the beak was a little more defined.
