Hi Harshad. This is a new species for me; I always enjoy seeing new birds! I would dodge the area around the eye a bit and do some selective sharpening of the head. ISO 400 and a little more DOF might have helped here.

Harshad...I know how hard it is to get shots of this species. One of the most beautiful thrushes in India. And for those who dont know...their call is out of this world.

As Doug suggested, higher ISO and higher SS wud have helped a lot here. And IMO, a little more color sat will definitely work. The bokeh is very nice.

A very nice image Harshad. You got the nice head turn and lots of nice feather details. A bit busy on the bottom and not much to be done about that. Dave

As above lighten the face and eye and sharpen the pupil. The back is sharper than the face.... How did you focus?

Lovely colours on this guy Harshad, and I like the pose. Maybe a little tight LRC.

Beautiful shot Harshad, love the colors and BG. eye contact and head angle are pretty good. Agree with Doug about DOF and Arti about sharpening the pupil, it seems to me that you focused on the wing plumage as opposed to the head and with thin DOF @ 600mm the head is not fully in focus.

Nice image thanks for sharing :)
