I wanted to depict the spooky side of Halloween, so I dug out a photo I took in Ireland at the Burrrishoole Abbey cemetary. It was taken at dusk, but I made it darker, added some lighting effects and turned the sky blood red. I added a few props (witch, bat and cat) that I got for free from http://www.obsidiandawn.com. I ruffled the cat's fur with the sprayed strokes filter.
The critters and witch are all custom shapes. If anyone can tell me how to make them look more 3D, I'd appreciate the advice. They just look a bit too cookie cutter to me.
After getting it completed, I realized that it doesn't really have a major subject that is nature related, so unless the cat and bat make it legal, please feel free to remove.
