I know Artie - big cropitis. I'm thinking attach the camera to a remote controled plane. Full Jimmy suit from days gone by in a land far away? My boat will be back soon - I hope. That helps me get closer. Meanwhile I hate to bore you with these but this is the best I got.

Hi Bill, Thanks for sharing. It doesn't bore me. It is more than I have been able to produce lately. I like the detail in the raised wing and the fan tail is pleasing. The light angle and harshness was working against you and I wish the bird was flying toward you.

Very cool pose. Perhaps a small hit with a better beamer would reduce the shadows on his face? Nice timing and sharpness.

Thanks guys. As mentioned in another thread I still have a lot learning to do but Artie and Fabs have clued me into several tricks that have greatly helped my exposures. My style of wildlife photography tends to favor exsisting light and so my images are very often dealing with shadows as part of the feel of the image.
