Adult male Sable hurdling a creek with fleeing Red-billed Oxpeckers.
The first in a series of three, taken in Moremi GR- Botswana.

D3 500VR 1/750s ISO200 f/4

Hi Marc, this is one species I still need in my gallery. Love these guys. Great timing to capture the jump over the stream, and you have exposed him nicely. I like the softer colours, and the oxpeckers add to the image. Looking at the ripples in the stream, this needs a slight CW rotation, and I would add a bit to the top. Cheers.

that's got to be the best sable image I've seen Marc - they are such beautiful antelopes. I agree with more space needed all round. great light, colours and exposure...

Hey Marc, as I love these guys so much, I thought I would extend the canvas for you. I extended on the right and top, and gave it a slight CW rotation. Hope you dont mind.

It was actually taken on the Vumbura side of the Buffalo fence whilst at Mapula.

Great shot. Nice looking animal caught in a great pose. Habitat, birds, and splashes all nice additions. I like the extra room of Stuart's repost.
