Agree with Fabs. The snow covered pine really adds a delicate touch that contrast well with the fierce expression of the owl.

This is a fine, fine image. That beautiful pastel background gives the owl a more intense presence in the photo.

I concur that this is riveting beautiful and well done. I kind of wish his tail was a little more in line with his body but realize he was using it to maintain balance.

Love the expression and the enviorment.
Was there some cloning done just to the left and above the leg seams like there is something going on in that area
