here's an image that surprisingly did not have any snow. Taken near Buck Hollow Overlook.

Beautiful colors and the tree anchors it nicely. The horizon looks tilted to the left to me.

Hi Michael, Interesting lighting, dramatic sky with nice warm colors. Agree with Fabs regarding rotation. I looked at cropping the right side a bit with the tree becoming a stronger anchor.(just past the first yellow bush) Another way of looking at it...

Good call on the crop, Dave - I bet that would anchor that tree even more. Wow, Michael...beautiful cloud cover here! You really get some excellent skies when you are out and about.

Well done Michael. You must have been there after us as the colors are much more advanced in your image. The HDR looks good, but I agree the it need a tilt CW.

great view, colours, mood and details and agree on needing rotation. HDR work very good!

I fixed the tilt and cropped slightly on the right. When I replaced the old image on Flickr which I linked to here, it eliminated the original shot.

Hey Michael,
I do realize you had a lot of movement in the FG....and I am OK with that....for my tastes the FG is overpowering the rest of the scene as it is the most dominant.....and given that it has a bunch of motion blur....I would consider toning it down/lessening its imapct on the overall scene. I think that will imapct the scene more than cropping......but both are worth exploring.

Nice, Michael. Pretty good results for the HDR technique. I see so few good ones.

Cropping off half the sky works for me.
