lovely pose here with nice BG ,
Sharpning edegs are visible here but can be easily managed
It is general opinion , frames distracts more to image than helping

Hi Rohan, neat looking bird. Although the light quality looked good, its angle coming strongly from the left was not ideal thus rendering the front of the face/bill/chest into shadow. Be careful with subject placement within the frame and clipped body parts (such as the oes in this case)...this one needed to go higher by pointing the lens down more. Very good BG!

@Daniel

How very stupid of me to have clipped the toes...was a messed up crop that I did not realize... there is more of the perch which i now realize i should have included to get the bird higher in the frame... thanks so much for pointing it out... will make the necessary changes in the PSD and re-post.

Hi Rohan

Yes, clipping the feet does not help :) Nice bird and a little sharpening will improve it IMHO. The light is not quite from the best angle and a slightly more turned head towards you may have resulted in the face being lit. :) Well done and perhaps post the new crop!
