Moody waterfall

Hello
This is a small river in Piatra Craiului National Park.
The weather was particularly dark and moody today, a great time for introspection and a sort of calmness I've much needed.
I've processed the image with a bit of Orton effect (http://www.naturephotographers.net/articles0106/dw0106-1.html).

I like the mood of this one and the 5 sec SS made for a nice blur of the falls. My only suggestion is the placement of the leaf -- I wish it was up further into the frame at the ROTs point.

I like ethe soft effect and feel fine with the leaf placement. Small objects or subjects should be placed closer to a corner.

Hi Bogdan,
While I don't normally like falls/water cut in the frame......this is one of those exceptions where I feel it works. I feel the Orton effect was also a wise choice as it is adding to the overall feel. A ROT placement of the leaf may also work.....but I find the area it is in very effective.....once again a rule nicely broken. Great mood and feel to this one with the leaf balanced effectively with the green opposite corner and strong curves leading us to the falls.....very nicely done!
