Hi all,

I'm not sure what this plant is; I shot this a while ago at a marsh near our place; I'd be interested in hearing what you think of this shot!

Hi David, A nice simple composition which works well. I like the lower leaf a lot and just feel that if there was a bit of separation between it and th elower frame it would make a small improvement. From what I can tell, I think more dof would also help. Nice bg. It is always good to include the camera/ lens/ and settings when posting to get the best comments. Looking forward to seeing more, Dave

Thanks for the comment; at the time I posted the shot I didn't know how to get the specs beacuse I had saved the photo in a different format. Here are the specs:

Rebel Xt
Lens 75-300 @ 125
f4.5
1/1250
Iso 400

Also, I should mention that there was an OOF flower at the bottom of the stem and another plant in the background; they were too distracting, so I tried to clone them out.
