Luxor at sunset. What a wonderful feeling of history to this place! Imagine sitting at a riverfront cafe for dinner, with Luxor and Karnak temples at your back, looking west toward the Valley of the Kings, with the ancient faluccas plying the river in between. (And Hoopoes wandering around the gardens of the Winter Palace.) Only drawback was the smoke from a nearby cruise ship wafting in from the right.
