This happened very often, Bison being the main culprit, with Elk the first runner ups :)

It is impressive to have one walk right up to your window and stare :) .. they are massive up close !!!

This looks like the Lamar Valley! The bison are on duty creating these jams a lot over there. Thanks for sharing this - makes me want to go back again.
