Not sure if its the tighter crop or the little bit of color but I'm liking this version a little more. Did you bump the contrast a little too?

I cropped it tighter and added some more contrast with slight curves and this is the "color version". It adds some depth to it. I prefer this one too but do like the other B&W one as well. The comp is more off center and I sharpened the eyes. Although her eyes are milky by nature.

I like the color version also. But I would offer it both ways, some folks still admire a nice B&W.

Another vote for the color version here. The subtle color visible in the eyes and mouth (two most interesting areas on a wolf) adds an element of interest to the dramatic effect you captured with the B/W version and still retained in this one evident in the fur.

I liked the original version but the color version is real strong.... If you could selectively punch up the colors on the eyes and toungue it might really make the image pop....
