I have just bought a Lacie rugged hard drive and am slightly confused on backing up. I use Elements 7.
If i back up from Elements 7 will it back up my exported jpegs also or do i have to do that seperately?

The simple way to back up your data is to use windows explorer and copy directories and images to the new drive.

Or if you have a Mac just use Time Machine, which just works, full stop.
Looks like some Time Machine look-alikes for Windows are cropping up. Here's one:

I have used Windows Explorer for years and had absolutely no problems backing up my images..
