Hi Joel,
I do love your becasseau minute! Might be tempted to take a tad off the bottom to balance out the composition and I think that the Head Angle Police might be hard on your heels...
I love the wing position and sharpness is admirable.
Best,
Nicki

I agree with Nicki. As for the HA...I'd upgrade the charge to BIFFA (Bird In Flight Flying Away) - which is a complete body angle issue :-) Anyways, one advantage of this (in this case) is seeing the dorsal feathers coming down and splitting the tail in two. Super job panning here...I know how fast little shorebirds can be!

Dan beat me to the punch. We might simplify the charge to BAA (bird angled away) so that it could apply to birds other than flying birds but I seem to know that acronymn from somewhere.....

A loverly fresh juvenile. So sweet.

I like the light and detail, and just a pity he's flying away from you.

Bonjour Joel,

Your image is really nice. Good comp, nice light and detail. BAA has been mentioned and I see some noise in the BG.

Beau travail !!! ;)
