Taken at Sandy Hook yesterday. Very early morning. (The red eye is the sunrise)

This is a Dunlin in first basic plumage; you can see the retained juvenile coverts and primaries whereas the scapulars and mantle are basic plumage. You can tell it's a Dunlin by the fairly distinctive bill shape, plus the overall grayish appearance, among other marks.

Good-looking Dunlin and very nice image. One of the sandiest bills I've seen in a while. :)
