Arash,
Great image and excellent lighting. Focus looks sharp and I think the bird is well placed on the canvas. Did you consider removing the vegetation from the lower border. I think the branches on the right side need to stay but believe the image would be improved by QM on the bottom border greenery. Also, image looks flat. How did you do Levels in PS? Artie nails that in his book "Digital Basics". After adjusting Black and White points, the middle slider (mid-tones) can do wonders with a shot like this.

Arash,

Lovely light and eye contact. I agree with Dean -- were it mine I'd be tempted to try a version without the bottom vegetation.

Hi Arash - agree with the comments about the crop from the bottom to loose the vegetation.
Did you use shadows/highlights on this??? Does look a little flat in certain places - rear wing for instance.
Good Pose, Good HA and eye contact.

thanks guys, I will trim some of those branches later. I did not use shadow-highlight, the tail and under the right wing are in complete shadow due to light angle which was very low (right before sunset).

Really nice, love the light and sharpness on the bird. All I could wish for was a better view of the far wing but really nice as presented.

Interesting view without the bottom branch, does have some merit !!

Love the eye and the light, nice 3-D look to the bird. Looks better w/o the branch

Hi Arash,
I think the repost is a definite improvement to a very nice capture. I like the lighting, composition, and the sharpness all over the hawk. Way to go!
