This is only my second post in this forum b/c I don't do much macro. This photo was taken near Acadia National Park in July. It rained almost the entire trip but tried to make the most of it.

Canon 40D, Canon 70-200, extension tubes @ 127mm
F5.6, 1/160th, ISO 400, manual mode
handheld, no flash, in the rain

C & C always welcomed and appreciated,

Marina

Marina, I LOVE that one water drop right on the edge of that petal next to the green BG! You did an excellent job of getting everything in focus and maintaining a good blurred BG. (That 70-200mm Canon lens is the bomb, is it not?) I think your choice of crop is perfect - the colors are nicely saturated without being overdone. There's really nothing about this image I don't really like.

I'd say you need to do more macro, girl... :D;):D

Nicely seen and composed. The one drop to the left is cool.

I like the colors and the off-center comp, Marina. All the water drops are a big plus. I wonder if the center of the flower could be a bit brighter?
