Goose Patrol (Sorry, Hit the wrong button)

Our HOA apparently isn't nature minded, as they have recently direct these geese to patrol our lake and keep out the all the riffraff that frequents the lake during the year. But as anyone knows, it isn’t nice to fool Mother Nature. You can see that she doesn’t respect the authority given to the geese patrol by the HOA. The Anhinga enjoys its daily cruise on the back of one of the geese, while the others keep an eye on the resident Egret on the shore. The ducks were also just off camera swimming and diving as they pleased.

Thought you might enjoy this one.

Is the anhinga really sitting on the goose? This would be too funny. How did the goose react?

Obviously the birds are not very concerned with the patrol :)

:D :D If only you knew! ;)

The day before, the Anhinga was flapping its wings, while sitting on one of the geese. Looked kind of XXX rated at the time.

Yes, it is sitting on the goose ... the goose decoy that is. :D

I agree, it was too funny.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

That's my take on it as well. The ducks are there every morning and evening as is the egret. We also have resident herons and sandhills that still come by and will more so when the season starts. Occasionally we also get a wood stork or two showing up. Will be interesting to see when the rest of the flock comes down for the season.

This reminds me of the Owl decoys covered in Seagull poop at marinas.
