This is wonderful, Madhav. Excellent use of DOF, I like that the leaf is half OOF. Wonderful colors, excelent BG and the light from the side/back adds something special. I would consider a considerable crop of the top to get a more panoramic view. Now there is too much empty space to my taste. A standard 9:16 ratio may work good.
Kind regards,

Jerry.

This is certainly a different lighting view of a dragonfly than we usually see! Great clarity and DOF on the dragonfly. I also like the turn of the leaf and the fact that it is as luminescent as the DF. I think Jerry nailed the composition - a panoramic crop would be great here. It would bring down the amount of negative space and really show off the long, lean look of the DF. Nice work!

Thanks a ton Jerry and Julie for your valuable feedback. Interestingly, pano crop never came to my mind till you mentioned it. Here it is.

Repost definitely works better by bringing more attention to your subject. Colors are absolutely gorgeous and love how the leaf is illuminated.

The pano crop improves the image, Madhav, and I really like the backlighting effect that you captured here.
