White-faced Ibis
SoCal

We were fighting the light a few days ago when trying to photograph these beautiful birds and sunlight is important in
getting the irredescense feathers to show their colors.

Thanks For Looking

Looks like you had just the right light to capture those bronze looking wings!!
Comp. seems spot on. I would maybe darken the beak and the legs but I don't know this species well and this may be an accurate portrayal of these features.

Hi Jim
Gorgeous colors mate! Absolutely gorgeous! I love the simple BG and the pose. Did I mention the colors? ;) Congrats my friend. :)

Hi James, this is one of the most colourful Ibis's I have seen. Exquisite light to bring out the colours, and overall, nice and sharp. The low angle works well, and lovely smooth BG too. Congrats on a fine image.

Great job in capturing the colours on this guy's plumage, and they look great against the blues and golds of the BG! I wouldn't mind a bout 1/2 inch less canvas below and adding that amount back above.

Hey James... this is gorgeous light and I really like your low angle. I might go for a small amount off the bottom too. Awesome work as usual.

Lovely low angle, colours especially the irredesence, and great sharpness. If anything I could go for a bit more of a headangle towards you also the adding some canvas on top could be worth looking into ;-)
