Hi Jim
Absolutely wonderful work if I may say so. The angle, the light, the comp all work superbly. I think it just needs a touch more sharpening. Congrats! :)

Lovely image, James. Low angle and multi-tone BG add to the feel.

Very nice pose and settings. I find it, however, a bit soft while the eye is popping out with more sharpness.
The increased noise level on blacks suggest that shadows has been slightly over adjusted.

James, I still need one of these in my files. I like the low shooting angle and the soft colored BG which is very complimentary. I agree w/ a touch more sharpening. Nicely done.

Great low angle and use of dof.

James, perfect side profile. Love the BG and that eye really stands out. I think it's sharp where it counts but I see a slight halo around the beak. Congrats

I am not too sure of the sharpening James, sure the OP looks soft, but the sharpening has brought out a lot of noise on the bird, but I loved the low angle, the light and the two tone Bg adds well, congrats..

Soft light, warm colours, low angle, you have it all here James. I would maybe lighten the eye a tad. Good repost.
