Let me know if you need help! You can edit your first post, go to 'manage attachments' and upload the image. Make sure it is not larger than 195kB and not longer than 1024 pixels and 800 pixels vertical.

Welcome to BPN, Ursula! Nice first post but quite small which makes it hard to comment. I would give it more room at the left for the bird to fly into and would post an image that is 800 or 900 pixels wide. Keep them coming!

Welcome Ursula. In your processing, you can set the size of the image. What we can see looks good, and hope you get it right.

Welcome Ursula and thanks a ton for your membership support. I am not sure if you replaced the originally posted image as the one that I am seeing has lots of problems that nobody is mentioning....

I love the snail, the trailing feet, and the near-wing position. The image is over-saturated: much too yellow, a bit over-sharpened, and is quite contrasty. The repost is a more neutral version.

ps: Forgot to mention that the bird is flying slightly away from you....

Ursula I am glad you got things sorted with posting. Now, seeing the larger size, I like your rendition of the bird and Artie's BG. Your brighter, saturated BG took away from the subject. Also, the greens can always seem to be too green or saturated straight out of the camera, so I do tend to tone them down most of the time. But the snail really makes this great for me! Also one more thing, I might make more room on the left for the bird to fly into, not so centered as such. You go girl!!

Thanks Artie. I agree that in the first post the color was too saturated.

Nancy, I appreciate your input. Thank you! I have a lot to learn & know that this is the place to do that.
