Take control of the course you are on
The days pass by until they are gone
Hold on dear to all your family ties
Time to make the most of each sunrise
Every day awaits a brand new start
Rejoice this life and open your heart
Forgive all the sins that come your way
Your words can cut deep, watch what you say
So with autumn knocking at the door
It's time to reflect your life and more
Look how fast the time has slipped away
Just blink your eyes it's another day

Or do you like this better?

Take control of the course you’re on
The days pass by until they’re all gone
Hold on dear to your family ties
Time to take hold of each sunrise
Each day awaits a brand new start
Rejoice this life and open your heart
Forgive all the sins that come your way
Words can cut deep so watch what you say
With autumn knocking at your door
It's time to reflect on your life and more
Look how fast time has slipped away
Just blink your eyes it's another day

#2 for me, because of "...take hold of each sunrise."

And the photo complements it beautifully.

Both read really well IMHO. I prefer the first one. :)

I like #2 as well. I offer these two very small changes for the sake of cadence, though:

"It's time to reflect ON your life and more..."

and

"Words can cut deep SO watch what you say..."
