Self Evaluation : as posted another shot taken in contentious mode here is another one. wish i was on my far left in the light angle when this fight took place.

I can't give advanced composition advice like the veterans but.... this looks like a very solid capture to me. Great DOF and action freeze. Sometimes I will increase the saturation in a situation like this to warm up the background, but that might mess up the natural feel to this great shot.

You handled the situation very well. Yes, moving to the left would have been better, but I doubt you had time to do that with action this fast. As is the image is strong in that it is well exposed and sharp. The confrontation is highlighted by the face to face posture of the birds. Good job!

I like the interaction and BG and remember this series. The sharpening of the birds brought out some noise in the shadows. There are some (clone?) marks in the lower right.

The light was dificult, but you handled it well. I wish for a better body angle on the bird facing away.

Superb action capture with both birds sharp. I would crop this one to a square in a heartbeat. The bottom adds nothing....

I agree to a tighter crop at the bottom Bhai, but loved the action captured and the up down wing position makes this for me, congrats...
