I would not normally post a coot image in amounst all the spectacular bird images, but I particularly like the shading of the feathers and setting here.

Hi Terry agree with you They live in that environment I like the feather detail very much You must have had good light Nothing blocked Also like the separation between the pair and placement in frame

Would have liked a slight head turn for the leading bird (just like the rear bird) Also feel you can crop some of the top and still maintain the same feel that you want !!! Don't hesitate posting coots or any other species that you like the capture !!!!

Hi Terry, I agree with Alfreds comments but you did a superb job on the detail in the blacks. Not easy to photograph these birds and you did a fine job. Thanks for sharing.
