My wife Kian now shoots her own EF800mm. (We sold the EF600 and EF500 to fund this second one). Here is her effort of the Little Spider Hunter on a banana flower in Sepilok, Sabah. This was a full frame shot. The Little Spider Hunter would collect the nectar from each flower in its morning circuit and once you get to know their habits it makes perfecting the shot easier. However, you only get a few seconds each time as it was still a little skittish.

50D + EF800mm 1/200s f/8.0 ISO640 EV +1/3 No Fill Flash.

Not the ideal BG IMO, but what an outstanding species, love these birds! Super sharp with great detail and colors. Congratulations!

Ps: I would tone down the saturation on the BG.

what beak and what a speices , first time for me , nice sharpness and details

The bird looks great! The right side of the BG could be toned down significantly as it does really draw my eye away.
