This little guy had his eye on me. Not sure if this pose works, not the best with BIF. All C&C welcome, Thanks for looking

Kyle, I think that's a great image. I love the eye, and the way he's counterbalanced against the wind that you can infer from the wind-blown grass in the BG. Someone will suggest that the bird shouldn't be so close to the middle of the frame, but in this case I'm not sure which side I would have favored. Exposure looks right on to me.

I like the pose......you have high shutter speed so I think a smaller f stop would have given you more DOF so that the lower area of the frame would have been in focus. Also maybe a little crop off the top.

Hi Kyle - like the peek a boo pose - great feel to it - feels windy.
I would crop some from the top - at present your birds eye is nearly centered horizontally - would crop some from the top to get it more on the ROT.
as noted you had shutter speed to burn some more DOF would have been a option.
Good show.

Hi Kyle,
I like the low angle capture and pose. You have good feather details and good color rendition, would also take a slice off the top and a little from the left...good show, looking forward to your next one...

Does this crop work better?

Kyle, I like the peeping eye and windswept effect. I think the repost is just a tad too much off from the left but the top is spot on.:)

I might take even a bit more off the top, but not as much from the left side. love the pose and eye contact.
