I promised you another view of white dome and this is just a few minutes B4 my previous post but from a different angle. I could crop this to a pano but considering this was never done B4 with a reflection.....figured I'd keep the reflection. I do have a version w/o it! I probably should have found a rock to stick in the RH side reflection.....but as always you can never find a rock when you need it!
Canon 1D Mark lll at ISO 800 at f8 for 1/50 sec. Enhancing and warming filters but no split ND's. Camera resting on ground.
Remember....this is a pothole!

Love the symmetry and warm tones. plume coming out of the dome(?) makes it more dramatic.

peaceful scene. i must join you on one of these trips. you dang sure get the most out of em. i gotta remember that camera on the ground trick!!

Keeping the reflection was the way to go IMO.

If you want a silhouette.....don't use the ND's!
