Love the comp and colors Ken. The size of those feet...enormous! Feel the head is a little soft as rear hind leg looks crisper, and maybe a little selective sharpening on the head will help punch it out. Must have been wonderful to see and keep them coming...... :):):)

Hi Ken. Love the composition here and light on the bear. I agree with Dave regarding the head, and with Harshad on taking some off the bottom (although in that case I would like some more on top). Overall, wish it was mine!!

What a sighting and you were pretty close. Good direct eye contact, and good control of the whites. It must be amazing to witness these wonderful animals at such close range. Great image.

Excellent image all around. The environment speaks well and I do like the comp as is. Also agree with a bit more selective sharpening on the head. Very nice!

Great Capture Ken!
I really like the eye contact and walking pose. I strongly support your crop choice, as I feel like it shows just how close he is and it kind of gives him a trail to where you're standing (if that makes sense).

Ken:

Powerful image, sense of menace, cropping choice works very well for me too.

I couldn't resist tweaking the sharpening on the head. I also sharpened the claws on the front foot.

On the raw, I think you can really make this look good.

Thanks for the strong image.
