Assignment: Light and Shadows – “Park Central”

Note:
This is an HDRI composed of seven frames.

This is the Park Central Hotel located on Miami Beach’s Ocean Drive, the heart of the Art Deco strip. The image was painted with a Nikon D300s, using a Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5 – f/5.6G ED VR lens.

Image Solution:
focal length @ 20mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 22 sec. - f/16 /exposure comp @ 0EV / ISO @ 200 / white balance @ cloudy / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution – ambient light / tone comp @ 0degree / hue adjustment @ 0 degree / saturation factor @ 0 degree / support platform – tripod assist with remote electronic trigger release.

Hey Gus,

I love the colors and the streaking lights are fabulous. South Beach is a great place for night photography. I thought maybe the hotel could be straightened. Just another look.... I guess it's my builder's eye. What do you think?

Love the colors, and I like it a little tilted. That is also a cool cars sitting in front:) TFS
