I like the diagonal perch, eye contact, and open beak. I would maybe clone out the OOF bits of grasses around him.

Harshad:

Sharp, well exposed, nice head angle, like the body positioning paralleling the perch. Nice Bg colors.

I would be tempted to do some discrete cloning to clean up some of the random vegetation in the frame. The twig paralleling the perch in the BG is a bit distracting as well.

Cheers

Randy

PS: Stuart and I were typing at the same time! He was faster!

Cloning/patching becomes easy once mastered - well worth the practice...in time those small grasses will become a piece of cake to eliminate. Neat looking bird - sure is small too! Image may be a little contrasty? Too bad the OOF branch is running across the feet. I like the slight glance-back and open bill :-)

I like the open beak, eye contact and pose. Cloning out the branch in front of the bird would be quite tricky.

Harshad, I like the open beak also and the look the bird is giving you. Cloning out the loose grasses will be easy but the one that parallels the twig will be tricky.

Excellent pose, exposure control and crips presentation. Agree with a bit of a tidy-up in the setting.

Very nice Harshad, love the BG. I would only consider cloning out some of the oof strands.

Agree with all suggestions already made. Still a lovely image of a beautiful bird Harshad Bhai. Love the eye contact and light.

A fine shot of a bird I have never seen. Detail is very good. I would have removed some of the
extra straw in the picture.

Nice little finch Harshadbhai. I used the patch tool to remove some of the intrusive OOF grasses, but left the others as I think they are too much reconstruction and are just bad luck re: composition. Not easy though with these perpetually busy birds. :)

Congrats.

The OOF grass has been covered.
Nice pose, BG, species and comp. Light was a little harsh IMO.
Congratulaitons!
