Composition is sweet and especially the arc of the tree to the left. A slight head turn towards you would give eye contact and a more intimate look. Light looks soft so I would have pushed the exposure as much as possible to get more density in the dark plumage on the bird. In PS you can then do a levels adjustment to expand the tonal range and Shadow/Highlight adjustment to lift the mid-tones up to see detail.

You can still do a Shadow/Highlight adjustment but may get noise. Try and see what happens.

Beautifully captured Fillip and a slight head turn as mentioned would really strengthen this image. I really like the composition and framing in this capture. Thanks for sharing !

Man, this is just lovely and the blacks look perfect. In lieu of a head turn you could have moved a step to your right to better parallel the bird. The light. BKGR, and that single foot are fabulous. WIth a better head angle it would be a family jewel...
