Image fired at a recent workshop I hosted locally, this bird has the most amazing feathers I have seen on any bird... unfortunatly, here in Ontario barn owls are very rare, and very much protected from photographers, so getting this bird in the wild is not going to happen around here.

Works for me, a tad more head turn would be great but as it is it works. What I loved the most here, is not only the species, light, and detail but the BG.. that is just superb IMO.
Congratulations!

Hi Raymond, Lovely looking species, and you nailed the exposure on those whites. Overall, good detail and I like the colours in the BG.

Beautiful looking bird Ray. HA mentioned, but wish the wings weren't dropped. Love the bg and good on you for the setting. (I have the same trouble with Great Grays.... none locally so have to use captive birds). :). Not ideal but a fact of life.

Great pose and I don't mind the HA at all. :) I wish the light were more even in the BG though, however that is also not really a big deal. Beautiful plumage on this owl Ray. Thanks for sharing.
