Todd,

Nice looking image. You left just the right amount of room for the virtual feet. I like the flowers and the fact you did not cut any at the edges. The bear is nicely placed in the frame and the tree a strong vertical element. I would have preferred not to have a yellow flower merging with the bears paws and moving left or right could have solved that.

I would be very happy to have taken a shot like this. Well taken. I can see the point about the yellow flowers, maybe try and clone them out?

I agree with all of the comments above. Cute cub and perfect timing on the shutter release.
Best,
Howard

Thanks for the comments, these little things like the flowers are the most overlooked elements of so many images. Thank you all for pointing these little nits out as I did not even notice it. You get so focused on the center of interest you forget your surroundings sometimes.

Nice image here Todd. It may have been interesting to try shooting this wide open to soften both the FG & BG more to emphasize the subject even more. I know things happen fast but if you ever have a chance you might try it. Roberts suggestion were right on.
