Made this image of a very friendly collared kingfisher yesterday morning. This bird is usually very skittish but this rather young individual continued his basking session and allowed me to get very close.Would appreciate your kind C and Cs.Thanks a lot!

Nice closeup with good details and exposure. The background sets off the bird nicely. I might have stopped down a little more for better depth of field

I like the detail and the whites are very well exposed. Agree with more DOF but not a big issue. Very good image.

I like the pose, soft light, BG and sharpness. I don't think there was much you could have done regarding wider DOF since you had very little light to work with.
